High-value drug suspects nabbed in P2M Cotabato City buy-bust

Four individuals, including three high-value drug suspects and one minor, were arrested during a buy-bust operation Sunday at 11:20 a.m. on De Mazenod Avenue, Brgy. Rosary Heights V, Cotabato City.

Police identified the suspects as Abdul Mohaimen Mastura Guiaber, also known as “Jame” and the target of the operation, Nurjel Osmeña Datumanong, and Arman Akmad Macmod, who was accompanied by his minor son.

The operation, led by the Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station (SKMPS), confiscated 300 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱2,040,000 as the object of sale. Authorities also recovered an additional 0.94 gram of shabu valued at ₱6,000, a mini-van, and the marked buy-bust money.

According to police, the drug transaction was initially set to take place in Brgy. Salimbao, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte. However, the suspects changed plans, leading the team to relocate the operation to Cotabato City.

All suspects are now under the custody of SKMPS and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
