Health Sec. Herbosa denies reports of replacement

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro Herbosa has denied reports claiming that he is set to be replaced as head of the agency.

This comes amid speculation about a possible major Cabinet shake-up this year, alongside declining public trust and approval ratings for President Bongbong Marcos.

During a Palace press briefing on Tuesday, Herbosa said he believes Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro has already clarified that there is no Cabinet revamp under the Marcos administration.

Despite this, Herbosa said he would respect the President’s decision should he be replaced, noting that it is the prerogative of the President.
