Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton trade yachts for tractors as celebrity couple goes full country life on sprawling Oklahoma ranch

Gwen Stefani, 55, and Blake Shelton, 49, have turned a 1,300‑acre Oklahoma ranch into their new summer home away from Hollywood. A source close to the couple says they favor tractors over yachts and find far more joy in planting seeds than in flashing lights.

The duo built a sprawling mansion on the property that features plenty of room for family and friends to fly in for visits. Shelton told Access Hollywood last year that Stefani is his best friend and they have fun together. Meanwhile, Stefani admitted on Rolling Stone that while she grew up in California and prefers makeup, she now enjoys gardening with her country star husband.

Farm routines and country romance

Shelton said at 14 he discovered three things he loved: country music, fishing and hunting. Stefani has since embraced ranch life too. She surprised fans when she shared a TikTok post in April showing her planting seeds and picking flowers on the farm.

Even Shelton’s sons—Kingston, 19, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11—are thriving in their rural environment. The source said the boys often fly friends out to camp, ride ATVs and enjoy bonfire nights under the stars.

Shelton previously recalled a day on the ranch when he used his truck and a chain to pull a fallen tree from the road. He said his family was impressed. Now Stefani gets her hands dirty too. A source said she has her own tractor and helps with chores. Shelton told Nylon she farms on a large scale while Stefani cultivates smaller, detail-rich patches.

Shared passion for hosting and family time

The couple plans concerts on the ranch this summer to celebrate Shelton’s new album Recreational Use Only, out in May. According to the source, guests will enjoy dance parties and marshmallow roasts around the fire, while Stefani cooks all of their favorite foods, including homemade pizza and lasagna.

Shelton built a chapel on the ranch where they married nearly four years ago, and they will reportedly host their annual July 4th party there. The source added the party will include music, food and plenty of starry-night fun.

Glamour meets country under open sky

On the ranch, Stefani and Shelton appear more in love than ever, often kissing and cuddling under the open sky, according to the source. Shelton praised his wife’s gardening skills while Stefani continues to adapt fully to farm rhythms.

They say that summers on the ranch are far better than upscale vacations and help them recharge and reconnect as a couple. As Shelton’s children learn country ways and Stefani masters the tractor, the question arises: will this rural chapter redefine their future plans?
