Gadon Claims: ‘The Dutertes have no votes!’ VP Sara should step down

Presidential Adviser on Poverty Alleviation Larry Gadon has urged Vice President Sara Duterte to resign instead of facing an impeachment trial, warning that removal from office could derail her political future.

In a video statement released Monday, Gadon said Duterte should step down if she wants to run for president in 2028. He argued that an impeachment conviction could disqualify her from holding public office.

“I suggest that VP Sara Duterte resign and not wait for the impeachment trial to proceed,” Gadon stated. “She needs to resign so she can still run in 2028.”

Gadon also took a swipe at the Duterte family, claiming they no longer have strong voter support.

“I want her to run because I want to embarrass the Dutertes. They keep claiming they’re number one, but they don’t have the votes,” he added.

Duterte has yet to respond to Gadon’s remarks.
