FL Liza Araneta-Marcos to focus on teaching amid allegations raised by Zaldy Co

First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos said she will focus on teaching future legal counsels about truth and the law, following allegations made against her by former congressman Zaldy Co.

This comes a day after Co claimed that Marcos was allegedly controlling the prices of several agricultural products.

In the third part of his video series, Co asserted that the First Lady supposedly had influence over rice importers.

He also alleged that while the House Quinta Committee was investigating agricultural smuggling and spikes in agri-product prices, Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. suddenly halted the probe.

According to Co, Laurel told the committee that continuing the investigation would affect the First Lady.

On social media, FL Liza Marcos said that while others choose “theatrics,” she prefers to focus on teaching lawyers.

The First Lady has been part of the law faculty of West Visayas State University in Iloilo City since 2022.

Meanwhile, Agriculture Secretary Laurel denied all of Co’s allegations.

He said none of Co’s claims—from onions, sugar, rice, to fish—are true.
