No Filipinos were reported affected following the explosions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which were linked to attacks launched by Houthi militants from Yemen.
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said it continues to monitor the situation of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Saudi Arabia following the attacks on September 18 and 19.
Reports said the Houthis launched ballistic missiles and drones targeting Riyadh and other areas in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi air defenses reportedly intercepted a ballistic missile headed toward Riyadh.
The DMW continues to coordinate with Migrant Workers Offices (MWOs), the Philippine Embassy, and Philippine consulates in Saudi Arabia to ensure the safety of Filipinos in the country.
OFWs are also advised to remain vigilant and follow the advisories and safety instructions issued by Saudi authorities.
