The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has suspended the operations of an allegedly unlicensed care facility run by vlogger Benji Perillo, also known as BenchTV.
This followed an inspection conducted in Barangay Landayan, San Pedro, Laguna.
A total of 12 individuals were found inside the facility, including two minors.
Some of them have been transferred to the custody of the DSWD to ensure proper care.
The agency also conducted medical assessments, along with profiling and case management procedures for those involved.
The DSWD provided technical assistance to BenchTV regarding the process and requirements for securing a Certificate of Registration and License to Operate (CRLTO).
