Authorities dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested three individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Roque, Digos City, Davao del Sur late Monday night.
The operation was carried out by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11 at about 10 p.m. on Feb. 24, 2026.
Arrested was a 40-year-old suspect identified only by the alias “Paleleng,” who was tagged by authorities as the alleged maintainer of the drug den. Authorities said Paleleng allegedly sold suspected shabu worth ₱7,000 to an undercover agent during the operation.
Also arrested were a man identified by the alias “Jhon,” who was described as an alleged employee of the drug den, and another individual identified as alias “Renz,” who was reported to be a visitor at the time of the operation.
Authorities said they recovered around 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱70,000. Drug paraphernalia were also seized at the scene.
The three suspects were taken into custody and placed in detention following the operation.
Authorities said the suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The alleged drug den was located in Barangay San Roque in this city in Davao del Sur. The buy-bust operation resulted in the closure of the site and the arrest of the individuals believed to be involved in the illegal drug activity.
Authorities did not release further details as the case is being prepared for filing in court.
