DOH Urges Public to Stay Home if Showing Flu-like Symptoms During Undas

If you are experiencing symptoms such as cough, colds, or fever, avoid going out and joining gatherings this Undas.

This was the reminder of Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa as many Filipinos are expected to travel to their provinces to visit departed loved ones.

According to Herbosa, it is better to stay at home to avoid infecting family members and other people.

He warned that flu-like symptoms can easily spread through coughing, sneezing, and close contact—especially in crowded areas like cemeteries.

The DOH also continues to remind the public to sanitize hands using soap and water or alcohol during this period.
