DOF assures uninterrupted services amid energy-saving work arrangements

The Department of Finance (DOF) assured the public that its services will continue despite the implementation of special work arrangements as part of the government’s energy conservation efforts.

According to the DOF, agency employees will report onsite from Monday to Thursday, while work-from-home arrangements will be observed every Friday starting this week.

Finance Secretary Frederick Go said maintaining continuous and effective public service remains their top priority.

He added that through coordination with the DOF and its attached agencies, they support the government’s push for efficient and responsible energy use and fiscal discipline.

It can be recalled that Bongbong Marcos earlier announced the four-day onsite workweek for the executive department and other government agencies due to the effects of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
