The Department of Energy (DOE) has advised the public of another increase in petroleum product prices starting tomorrow, February 10.
According to the DOE, the price adjustment is driven by continued movements in global oil prices.
At the same time, the agency assured the public that it remains on heightened alert and is closely monitoring developments affecting fuel prices.
The DOE said it is also coordinating with other government agencies to ensure that petroleum prices remain fair, reasonable, and compliant with existing laws.
The agency appealed to the public for understanding as it continues efforts to ensure the availability of quality petroleum products in the market.
Records show that diesel prices have surged by as much as ₱6 over the past four weeks.
Starting tomorrow, gasoline prices will increase by ₱0.60 per liter, while kerosene will also go up by ₱0.60 per liter.
