DBM Backs Reallocating Flood Control Funds to Education Sector

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has expressed full support for increasing funding for the education sector.

According to DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, the additional funding aligns with President Bongbong Marcos’ directive to realign ₱255.5 billion — originally intended for the Department of Public Works and Highways’ flood control projects — toward priority programs.
