Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla clarified that the copy of the alleged International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against Senator Bato dela Rosa, which was obtained by Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, came from a “third source.”
In an interview, Remulla said the Ombudsman informed him that the document was acquired from a third party and not directly from the ICC.
He added that “in form” and “in function,” the document appears official.
Remulla also explained that once such a document reaches the security apparatus, it becomes actionable and should be formally received.
It can be recalled that over the weekend, the Ombudsman claimed the ICC had already issued an arrest warrant against the senator.
