The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has printed more than nine million ballots a week after the printing resumed at the National Printing Office (NPO).
According to Comelec chairperson George Erwin Garcia, the commission has printed 9.4 million copies of ballots to be used in the 2025 midterm elections.
More than 62 million ballots will be needed to complete the COMELEC target of more than 70 million.
The poll body planned to print 1.5 million ballots a week to meet their timelines ahead of the May polls.
Garcia earlier announced to finish the printing of ballots by April 14 and distribute the election materials in the different parts of the country two weeks before the May 12 elections.
Ballot printing has been delayed several times after the Supreme Court (SC) issued Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO) on the disqualifications of some political aspirants.
