Two-time Olympic champion Carlos Yulo continued his golden run after ruling the men’s vault final in artistic gymnastics at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 this Friday, September 25.
Yulo posted an average score of 14.599, highlighted by a 14.733 on his first vault and 14.466 on his second attempt.
Iran’s Mahdi Olfati claimed the silver medal, while Ka Ki Ng of Hong Kong, China settled for bronze.
The victory marks Yulo’s second gold medal in the ongoing Asian Games, following his triumph in the men’s floor exercise final on Thursday, where he secured the Philippines’ first gold medal of the tournament.
Yulo’s campaign continues as he is set to compete in the men’s parallel bars final at 3:50 p.m.
Meanwhile, his younger brother, Eldrew Yulo, will also vie for a medal in the men’s horizontal bar final.
