The body of a police officer allegedly murdered by a colleague over an extramarital affair was recovered near the ancestral home of the suspect in Baguio City.
Authorities believe the victim was killed on November 28 at the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) quarters in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.
The suspect, also a police officer, reportedly shot the victim after discovering an alleged affair between the victim and his wife, who is also a member of the police force.
Following the crime, the suspect turned himself in, leading investigators to the burial site near his family property in Baguio City.
Police have since launched a full investigation into the case, focusing on the motive and the possible involvement of other individuals.
