Kapamilya actress and host Anne Curtis calmly responded to a netizen who called her “retokada” and even dragged her daughter, Dahlia, into the comment on social media.
In the netizen’s post, he shared a screenshot of Anne who graced a red carpet event and made several other comments under the Kapamilya actress’ a post about how she looked in that event to which she responded with grace.
“Retokada yarn? Exhibit A – anak,” the netizen said.
Instead of engaging in a heated exchange, the actress and television host confidently said that she has not undergone cosmetic surgery and expressed her belief that both she and her daughter are beautiful.
Curtis also explained that she normally chooses not to respond to bashers, but this time, she simply wanted to remind the netizen to spread kindness.
“I usually don’t give people like you the time of the day but wala lang. I don’t know who hurt you or why you’re so angry with me but nonetheless sending you some kindness maybe you some in your life. Big virtual hug 🤗 I mean that, sincerely,” she said.
Her response drew support from fellow netizens, many of whom defended the actress and praised her for addressing the comment calmly.
Curtis has long been recognized for her beauty, including being named among the Top 30 Most Beautiful Women of 2017 by a Hollywood-based social magazine.
