Niño Muhlach’s wife, Diane Abby Tupaz, has expressed her disappointment over the public apology issued by Nicolas Villanueva following their road accident in Antipolo City.
Villanueva was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with the vehicle driven by Muhlach on August 23, 2026.
Muhlach had admitted responsibility for the incident and reportedly shouldered Villanueva’s hospital expenses.
However, Villanueva later accused the actor of allegedly disregarding the incident and making promises only in front of the cameras.
On Wednesday, September 17, Villanueva took to social media to retract his accusations and apologize for his previous statements.
He expressed remorse for his words and actions, saying he had learned important lessons from the controversy and would demonstrate his sincerity through his future actions.
However, Tupaz, reportedly remained unconvinced and dismayed, saying the statement did not address the concerns that had caused the family distress.
