The “Miss Flawless” controversy continues to make waves in showbiz as Sachzna Laparan finally addressed Angelica Jones’ concerns over her 2019 cover of the hit song.
Sachzna clarified that her team allegedly reached out to Angelica for permission before releasing the cover, which featured rappers Flow G and Bosx1ne.
She also said she personally sought the approval of composer Lito Camo, who gave the project the go-ahead.
Adding another twist to the issue, Sachzna revealed that Angelica was initially supposed to appear in the music video, but their schedules reportedly did not match.
Angelica, however, maintained that she was never directly asked for permission to use the song and was not properly informed about the music video.
With the two sides giving different accounts of what happened, Angelica is now waiting for an apology from Sachzna over the controversy.
