PBA postpones Sunday games due to severe weather

Two games in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup have been postponed this Sunday, August 9, due to inclement weather.

The Phoenix Super LPG Fuelmasters were supposed to face the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, while Barangay Ginebra San Miguel was originally slated to take on Blackwater at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Philippine Basketball Association said the postponement was made as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans amid the unfavorable weather conditions affecting Metro Manila.

The PBA has yet to announce the new schedule for the postponed games.
