China’s floating platform at Bajo de Masinloc removed – NTF-WPS

The National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS) has confirmed that the floating platform recently reported at Bajo de Masinloc has already been removed.

The confirmation was based on the latest Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) patrols and monitoring activities conducted by Philippine authorities in the area.

In a statement, the NTF-WPS said it will continue to carry out regular monitoring, maritime domain awareness operations, and lawful presence activities around Bajo de Masinloc.

The task force also called on all foreign entities to comply with international law and refrain from actions that violate the Philippines’ sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction.

The agency further emphasized its commitment to protecting the country’s territorial integrity and upholding a rules-based international order.
