‘God’s Influencer’ to Become Saint: Set for Canonization in April

Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old Italian teenager hailed as “God’s influencer,” is set to become the first millennial saint. Pope Francis announced that Acutis’s canonization will take place during the Jubilee for Adolescents on April 25-27, 2025, in Rome.

Acutis, who passed away in 2006 from leukemia, gained recognition for using his computer skills to spread Catholic faith online. He created a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles, inspiring Catholics worldwide. His dedication and devotion earned him the nickname “God’s influencer.”
