SHOCKING GENSAN MURDER: Man killed while sleeping—Who did it and why?

A deadly shooting occurred in the early hours of November 7, 2024, in Purok Malok, Barangay Labangal, General Santos City. At approximately 1:30 AM, residents reported hearing a series of gunshots. Upon investigation, authorities discovered the body of 33-year-old Gerald Gilbero, also known as “Musang,” lying lifeless on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

Gilbero, a single man and a jobless resident of Purok Malok A, was reportedly asleep on a swing at the time of the incident. Investigators suggest that an unidentified assailant approached him while he was resting and fired several shots at close range with a pistol.
