A 48-year-old man was arrested while attempting to obtain a National Police Clearance at the Mabolo Police Station in Cebu City.
The man, identified as Elberto, was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for murder.
The system flagged his status during the clearance process, leading to his immediate apprehension.
Elberto’s warrant was issued by the presiding judge of RTC 7 Branch 45 Bais City on January 19, 2010. Originally from Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, Elberto has been residing in Sitio Langub, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
