Mandatory SIM card registration bill, aprubado na ng House panel

Inaprubahan ng House committee on information and communications technology ang consolidated bill, na naglalayung require ang registration ng mobile subscriber identity module (SIM) cards.

Ang hakbang ay para mapigilan ang tumataas na bilang ng mobile phone scams.

Ayon kay panel head Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco, na ang approved consolidated measures ay magkakaroon ng House Bill No. 14 bilang primary bill.

Ang House Bill. No. 14 ay inihain at authored nina Speaker Martin Romualdez, Ilocos 1st District Rep. Alexander Marcos, at Tingog party-list Representatives Yedda Marie Romualdez at Jude Acidre.
