Authorities are investigating the shocking desecration of an 82-year-old woman’s grave at Sto. Domingo Public Cemetery in Sto. Domingo, Albay, on February 16, 2025.
According to reports, a cemetery worker discovered the empty coffin and immediately alerted barangay officials and police. The elderly woman’s body was later found approximately 150 meters from her grave. Investigators noted that the body was missing its underwear, but the family confirmed that no personal belongings were stolen.
The incident has left the family devastated. They are calling for justice and plan to cremate their loved one’s remains to prevent further desecration.
