4th civilian-led resupply mission to West Philippine Sea set by Atin Ito Coalition

The Atin Ito Coalition has announced another civilian supply mission to the West Philippine Sea.

The group confirmed that its fourth resupply mission is scheduled in April.

During a press conference, the coalition said the mission will carry the theme “Balik Pag-asa” to Pag-asa Island, where around 500 Filipinos currently reside.

According to Atin Ito co-convenor Rafaela David, the voyage aims to respond to three major crises facing the country — the rising fuel prices affecting fishermen, the issue of alleged Chinese spying, and what she described as the “betrayal” of so-called “Tsinador” in the West Philippine Sea.

The civilian mission will prioritize delivering fuel and food assistance to fishermen and local communities in the area.

David also called on the government, the business community, and ordinary citizens to support Filipino fishermen by providing fuel subsidies and supplies.

She added that every liter of fuel delivered will help ensure that fishermen can continue sailing and working, while also maintaining the Philippines’ presence in the disputed waters.
