29 Filipinos involved in Bavaria bus accident return to Milan

Twenty-nine Filipinos affected by a bus accident near Buchloe, Bavaria, Germany have returned to Milan, according to the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt.

The latest patient discharged from the hospital today was cleared for travel and has also returned to Milan.

Meanwhile, two Filipinos remain hospitalized in Bavaria, with MWO and OWWA personnel on the ground continuing to monitor their condition and attend to their needs.

The Philippine government is also working to secure appropriate legal assistance and representation in Germany for the Filipinos affected by the accident.

The PCG Frankfurt continues to coordinate with German authorities and monitor the ongoing investigation into the incident.

Consul General Marie Yvette Banzon Abalos also expressed her appreciation to the first responders, including police officers, firefighters, the Red Cross, Malteser, and other medical personnel who assisted the victims.
