According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), a 2.1-magnitude earthquake struck the town of Manito, Albay, at 9:22 p.m. tonight. Minor tremors were also felt as Intensity II in Legazpi City.

PHIVOLCS reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located near Manito, Albay, with a shallow depth, making it noticeable in nearby areas. While no damage has been reported, authorities have reminded residents to remain vigilant against aftershocks.
