Vlogger arrested for drone violation

A vlogger was arrested for violating Davao City’s Drone Regulation Ordinance after being caught flying a drone without a permit at San Pedro Square.

The vlogger, identified as Jobert from North Cotabato, was seen operating a gray drone by Civil Security Unit (CSU) officer Gemelyn.

When confronted, Jobert failed to present the required permit, leading to the drone’s confiscation and issuance of a citation ticket.

“Caught Red-Handed!” The incident occurred at San Pedro Square, where strict regulations prohibit drone flights without proper authorization.

The drone has been seized by authorities and will be handed over to the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) for proper disposition. This incident underscores the stringent enforcement of drone regulations in Davao City, aimed at ensuring public safety and compliance with local laws.
