Vivamax actress found dead in Quezon City condo

Quezon City police are investigating the death of Vivamax artist Gina Lima, 23, who was found unresponsive inside her condominium unit in Barangay Katipunan.

According to the La Loma Police Station, Lima’s former boyfriend Ivan Cezar Ronquillo, 24, discovered she was no longer breathing when he woke up. He brought her to Quezon City General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

A preliminary hospital report listed cardio respiratory distress as the possible cause of death. Authorities have not announced any additional findings and have not said whether foul play is suspected.

The report drew swift reactions online. Several of Lima’s friends expressed concern on social media, saying she often had bruises on her body. Police have not confirmed the claim and have not commented on whether this will be part of the investigation.

Investigators are now reviewing the sequence of events leading to her death and gathering statements from those close to her. No other details were released.

Lima was a performer under Vivamax, a digital entertainment platform. Her management has not issued a statement.
