Various Groups to Gather Again at EDSA Shrine Ahead of Trillion Peso March on Bonifacio Day

Akbayan has urged the public to join the observance of White Ribbon Day, which will be launched by the Trillion Peso March Movement tomorrow, October 10.

The event is part of the group’s weekly Friday protests against corruption.

The organization encouraged everyone to once again raise their calls for accountability at the EDSA Shrine and to wear white ribbons—a symbol that Filipinos will not stop demanding justice until those responsible for corruption are held accountable and the stolen public funds are returned.

A Mass organized by the Trillion Peso March Movement will be held inside the church at 6 p.m., followed by a candle-lighting ceremony to commemorate the ongoing fight of Filipinos for an honest and transparent government.
