OCTA Research has released new survey results on the trust and performance ratings of the country’s two highest officials for the last quarter of 2025.
Based on the survey conducted from December 16 to December 20, 2025, public trust in President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. dropped by nine percentage points.
His trust rating declined to 48 percent from 57 percent in September 2025. In addition, 31 percent of Filipinos expressed distrust toward the President.
The President’s performance rating also slightly decreased, falling to 51 percent from 54 percent.
Meanwhile, the results were the opposite for Vice President Sara Duterte, whose trust and performance ratings increased.
Her trust rating rose to 53 percent from the previous 51 percent, while 26 percent of respondents said they no longer trust the Vice President.
Her performance rating also improved, increasing to 54 percent from 49 percent.
The highest ratings for Vice President Duterte were recorded in Mindanao, while the lowest were noted in Balance Luzon.
