Four people were allegedly killed in an ambush on a truck in Sitio Maisa, Barangay Cabadiangan, Kadingilan, Bukidnon, on the afternoon of March 19, 2025.
According to Police Captain Larry Malhin, chief of the Kadingilan Municipal Police Station, officers responded to the scene but found only the abandoned vehicle. The victims’ bodies had reportedly been taken by their families before authorities arrived. In an interview with Brigada Valencia, Malhin said police are still verifying the exact number of casualties and the motive behind the attack.
Barangay Captain Roel Doncillio told Brigada News that the four alleged victims were residents of Barangay Macabinban, Carmen, North Cotabato.
Investigators have yet to confirm the identities of the suspects. However, they are looking into a person of interest. Some residents believe the ambush may have been caused by a personal grudge.
Authorities are still gathering evidence as the investigation continues.
