Police charged a trisikad driver for allegedly robbing the house of an overseas Filipino worker in Barangay San Isidro.
Responding officers identified the suspect as alias Rudy, 35, who was caught after a caretaker reported suspicious activity inside the residence.
Investigators said the caretaker discovered the break-in and immediately alerted police, leading to the suspect’s arrest and recovery of stolen items.
Authorities confirmed the suspect allegedly stole various appliances, including an air conditioner, sound system, LPG tank, sofa, and water heater.
The San Isidro Police swiftly conducted follow-up operations to gather evidence and file the robbery complaint against the suspect on October 13, 2025.
Officers emphasized that quick community reporting and immediate police response made the arrest possible within hours of the incident.
Police urged residents to stay vigilant and strengthen home security, especially when properties are left unattended by owners working abroad.
