A helicopter crash in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, on Thursday claimed the life of its female pilot, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). The aircraft, with registration number RP-C 4324, originated from Baguio and made a refueling stop in Pangasinan before continuing its flight.
Hours after takeoff, the Guimba Police received reports of the crash in Barangay San Miguel. The helicopter was found in a marshy area, where authorities retrieved the pilot’s body.
