Top drug suspect nabbed in Iligan buy-bust

Authorities arrested three drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Saray, Iligan City, leading to the dismantling of a suspected drug den and the seizure of shabu valued at P45,500.

According to Police Regional Office 10 (PRO-10), operatives conducted the operation and confiscated approximately seven grams of suspected shabu from the site. Officials said the drug den was believed to be operated by the suspects.

The arrested individuals were identified only by their aliases: Menda, 53, a top-priority drug personality from Barangay Saray; Glenn, 47, a resident of Barangay Hinaplanon; and Jerry, 55, also from Barangay Saray.

All three are now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Authorities said the successful operation underscores their commitment to intensifying anti-drug efforts in Northern Mindanao.
