A 54-year-old taxi driver was stabbed and robbed by two passengers in Barangay Bulacao, Cebu City, early Saturday morning, March 15.
The victim, identified as Glecerio, a native of Boljoon, Cebu, suffered stab wounds to his back and underarm.
According to initial reports, the two male suspects boarded the taxi on Pelaez Street, Cebu City. Upon reaching their destination in Barangay Bulacao, they allegedly carried out the attack, stabbing the driver before fleeing with his earnings.
The suspects took approximately P6,000 from the victim before escaping.
Authorities from the Inayawan Police Station are conducting an investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
