Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa believes the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte will eventually reach the senate.
In a press conference, Dela Rosa said he expects this as a ‘worst case scenario’ since those who want to topple down the vice president had prepared a well- planned move.
The senator said whether or not Vice President Duterte attends the House of Representatives’ probe on the confidential fund, the impeachment complaint by all means will ultimately reach the senate.
Dela Rosa is among the 23 senators who will sit as jury should the complaint reaches the senate.
Senate President Chiz Escudero earlier said the senate is ready to do its duty in case the impeachment complaint reaches their chamber.
