Sec. Dizon Appeals for Patience Amid Flood Control Corruption Probe

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon has appealed for public understanding amid the ongoing investigations into alleged corruption in flood control projects.

According to Dizon, he understands that the public has run out of patience and is furious over the misuse of government funds.

However, he emphasized the need for thorough and careful investigation.

He explained that the inquiry must be conducted deeply and meticulously to build airtight cases and ensure that those responsible are held accountable — a task currently being carried out by the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).

He urged the public to understand that the goal is to guarantee that the individuals behind the wrongdoing are jailed and not allowed to escape justice.
