The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has confirmed that contractor couple Curlee and Sarah Discaya, along with Senator Mark Villar, are scheduled to appear before the commission tomorrow.
According to ICI Executive Director Brian Hosaka, their attendance at the hearing has already been confirmed.
Villar had earlier stated that he welcomes the investigation after being linked to alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
He also expressed support for the ICI’s efforts to look into corruption.
Meanwhile, Hosaka acknowledged the public’s call for transparency in the proceedings but maintained that the hearings will not be livestreamed.
He reiterated the commission’s stance that they aim to avoid trial by publicity during the investigation.
