Actress and TV host Ruffa Gutierrez has debunked false reports claiming that her mother, veteran talent manager Annabelle Rama, has passed away.
In a Facebook post on Monday, October 19, Ruffa assured the public that her mother is alive and well, firmly dismissing the misleading claims circulating on social media.
She also called on content creators to stop spreading misinformation for views and online engagement, stressing that such posts can damage reputations and deeply affect the families involved.
“To all content creators, I sincerely hope we can use our platforms to spread truth, kindness, and positivity rather than misinformation and hate. Spreading false stories and damaging someone’s reputation for the sake of views and engagement is never right,” she said.
Ruffa urged social media users to prioritize truth, kindness, and responsibility when sharing content online.
The fake reports surfaced on Facebook a day earlier, falsely claiming that Annabelle had died and allegedly left a last will and testament that excluded Ruffa from her inheritance.
Ruffa reiterated that the claims were entirely untrue and thanked those who continue to show respect and compassion toward her family.
