Prince William to blame? Meghan Markle’s alleged ‘mean girl’ behavior resurfaces as insiders reveal chilling staffer accounts

Prince William allegedly played a key role in keeping Meghan Markle’s bullying investigation under wraps, a decision that is now under renewed scrutiny as fresh allegations surface against the Duchess of Sussex.

In 2021, Buckingham Palace launched an internal probe after multiple staffers accused Meghan of toxic workplace behavior during her time as a senior royal. However, despite public interest, the report was never released, and sources claim Prince William was behind the decision to keep it private.

Now, a Vanity Fair investigation has reignited the controversy, featuring damaging testimony from former aides who describe Meghan’s alleged mistreatment of staff and its lasting emotional impact.

New allegations paint Meghan as a ‘mean girl’

The Vanity Fair article claims that multiple insiders—who worked closely with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex—detailed their negative experiences with Meghan over several months.

One source described Meghan as a “mean girl”, alleging that she threw staffers to the wolves and created a hostile work environment. Another revealed that some employees required long-term therapy after working for her.

One former aide told Vanity Fair:

“Her relationships with staff always started well, but the moment something went wrong, she became cold and withholding.”

For Prince William, who reportedly warned Prince Harry to take his time before marrying Meghan, the latest accusations confirm his long-held suspicions.

“It’s no secret that William and Meghan never got along,” a royal insider told New Idea Magazine. “He can’t help but feel that he was right to be cautious.”

Prince William’s alleged role in covering up the report

Despite Buckingham Palace’s commitment to transparency, sources claim that Prince William personally intervened to keep the results of the 2021 bullying investigation from becoming public.

According to royal insiders, William was concerned that releasing the findings would further escalate tensionsbetween Harry, Meghan, and the royal family.

“William doesn’t take pleasure in these allegations being made public,” the source added. “But he also believes he made the right call in being wary of Meghan from the beginning.”

Adding to the drama, Vanity Fair also reported that Meghan had discussed a potential book deal in the event of a split from Prince Harry. Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex is said to underestimate the long-term consequences of his memoir Spare and still holds hope for reconciliation with his family.

Will Meghan respond?

As of now, Meghan Markle has not addressed the latest allegations. Buckingham Palace has also remained silent on the matter.

While some royal watchers dismiss the claims as tabloid gossip, others see them as a major test for Meghan’s public image. If the bullying report ever sees the light of day, it could significantly impact how both Meghan and the royal family are perceived moving forward.
