Philippines to host two WTA Tournaments in 2027

The Philippines is set to host two WTA tournaments in 2027, following an announcement by the Philippine Tennis Association.

The country will stage the WTA 125 in January 2027, followed by a WTA 250 tournament in November of the same year.

The WTA 250 will mark the Philippines’ first time to host a main-tour WTA 250 event, giving Filipino tennis fans the chance to witness world-class women’s tennis action on home soil.

The tournaments are also expected to provide local players with opportunities to compete against some of the world’s top women’s tennis stars, while giving Filipino fans more chances to watch high-level tennis live.
