PDEA, NBI bust two drug dens in Davao Region, 11 suspects arrested

Authorities dismantled two alleged drug dens and arrested 11 suspects in separate anti-drug operations in the Davao Region on Feb. 13, 2026, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11.

In Davao City, the PDEA Regional Special Enforcement Team–Davao City Office, with the National Bureau of Investigation Southeastern Mindanao, conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay 37-D, Mabini Extension at about 4:25 p.m. Seven suspects were arrested, including the alleged drug den maintainer identified by the alias “Kevin,” 32, who allegedly sold one sachet of suspected shabu worth ₱7,000 to a poseur-buyer.

Also arrested were an alleged employee identified as alias “Elthon” and five visitors identified by aliases “Godard,” “Jacob,” “John Paul,” “John Warren,” and “Richard.” Authorities seized six sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 14 grams with an estimated value of ₱98,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and marked buy-bust money.

In a separate operation in Digos City, Davao del Sur, PDEA’s provincial office, with the Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office, dismantled another alleged drug den in Purok 1, Kanahay Village, Upper Matti at around 5:50 p.m. Four suspects were arrested, including alleged maintainer alias “Migo,” 26, who allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth ₱8,000 to an undercover agent.

Also arrested were alias “Neriza,” and visitors alias “Nica” and “Niknik.” Authorities seized six sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 30 grams valued at ₱240,000, drug paraphernalia, and marked money.

All suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. PDEA Regional Office 11 said it will continue intensified anti-drug operations with partner agencies.
