P14M shabu bust in Cebu: loaded gun and drugs found

Authorities seized nearly P14 million worth of suspected shabu in a successful buy-bust operation in Barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion, Cebu.

The joint operation, conducted by the Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit Consolacion, PDEA-7, and PIU personnel, led to the arrest of Jame, a 46-year-old native of Bohol currently residing in the barangay.

The raid uncovered two kilograms of suspected shabu, with an estimated standard drug price of ₱13.6 million. Alongside the illegal drugs, officers also confiscated a loaded KG9 firearm containing five live bullets, intensifying the suspect’s potential legal repercussions.

Jame is now in the custody of the Consolacion Municipal Police Station and faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
