OVP insists there was no wrongdoing after receiving unmodified opinion from COA

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) assured the public that there were no irregularities in its annual audit report for Calendar Year 2024.

This follows the “unmodified opinion” it received from the Commission on Audit (COA).

An unmodified opinion is the highest level of assurance given for financial statements.

In a statement, the OVP said the rating is proof that its financial statements were “presented fairly in all material respects.”

The office also emphasized that it was not found to have committed any wrongdoing.
