Inilunsad ngayong araw ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang isang microsite kasabay ng paggunita ng anibersaryo ng 2016 Arbitral Award on the South China Sea.
Ayon kay DFA Secretary Enrique Manalo, ang microsite ay magbibigay ng “central resource of information and positions on the award” at “contributions to the rule of law and peaceful settlement of disputes” sa pamamagitan ng United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) at international law.
Makatutulong ito sa mabilis na mapagkukunan ng links at iba pang materyales na magagamit ng Permanent Court of Arbitration.
Ang nasabing progress site ay isang mahalagang simula na mas maunawaan ang mga isyu na kinahaharap ng Pilipinas sa South China Sea at West Philippine Sea.//MKCJ
