President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. believes that reconciliation should be unconditional.

This was the President’s response to a question about whether he would meet the conditions set by the camp of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Earlier, the President said he was open to reconciling with the Dutertes because he did not want to have them as enemies.

Due to Marcos’ statement on reconciliation, allies of Duterte spoke up, saying that if Marcos wants reconciliation to happen, he should bring Duterte back to the country.

According to Senator Christopher Bong Go, if Marcos wants reconciliation, he should first bring back Duterte, who is currently detained at the International Criminal Court (ICC) Detention Center in the Netherlands.
