A man succumbed to his injuries after a brutal attack involving a flower pot in Barangay Matina Pangi, Davao City.
The victim, identified as Bry, 43, was struck on the head by the suspect, Har, 44, during an altercation outside the victim’s rented home.
Witnesses reported hearing a commotion and saw the suspect use a flower pot to hit the victim, inflicting a serious head injury. Bry was rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) but later died while receiving treatment.
Responding officers from Talomo Police Station , apprehended the suspect at an inn in Matina Aplaya shortly after the attack.
The suspect is now in police custody and faces upgraded charges of homicide. Authorities are conducting a full investigation into the motive behind the fatal attack, which has shocked the local community.
